Cortland County urges caution amid storm damage

The storm's edge - 2 miles east of McGraw

Cortland County emergency management officials are urging caution late Wednesday evening after a line of severe thunderstorms rolled through. The storms, at one point, triggered a tornado warning.

There are trees, limbs and wires down in the City of Cortland and Town of Cortlandville. The Cortland County 911 center is asking people to be very cautious because they are not sure that all of the trouble areas have been called in and identified yet.

WHCU radio reports the storm knocked a tree into a house on Floral Avenue in the city.
