Cortland man charged after search of his apartment turns up drugs

A Cortland man is under arrest after a search of his apartment turned up several illegal drugs and drug-related items.

Police arrested 22-year-old Anthony M. Rodriguez after executing a search warrant at his apartment on Owego Street.

Officers found two ounces of marijuana, a quantity of Molly, cocaine, Alprazolam and drug paraphernalia including vacuum bags, a vacuum sealer and an electronic scale.

Rodriguez was charged with criminal possession of marijuana, two counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia, two felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and one misdemeanor count of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

He is being held in the Cortland County Correctional Facility in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.
