Bizarre new details in the case against an Oneida man accused of leading his own mother into the woods and leaving her there for three days.

Court papers obtained by CNYCentral show Tomas Zavalidroga fed his 83-year-old mother Margaret oatmeal in the woods and left her there alone to sleep. He later reported her missing.

Court documents show she was later found lying on the ground about 50 feet into the woods behind the Lowe's in Oneida, wearing a purple shirt and no pants or underwear.

She told investigators she son brought her out there.

He is charged with reckless endangerment and falsely reporting an incident. He is due back in court on Friday.
