Cribs sold at JC Penney recalled due to entrapment, suffocation hazards

Tens of thousands of cribs are being recalled because of entrapment and suffocation hazards.

The recall involves 14 models of the PT Domusindo Perdana wooden drop-side cribs sold through the JC Penney catalog and on

73,000 of the cribs are being recalled because the drop sides can malfunction, detach or fail, causing the drop side to fall out of position.

An infant or toddler could fall out of the crib or get wedged or entrapped.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is aware of three incidents involving the cribs. So far, no injuries have been reported.
