Cyclists ride the Erie Canal trail to raise money for kids with cancer
It was a perfect day out for the 72-mile bike ride to raise awareness and funds for kids with cancer.
17 cyclists took part in the 5th Annual Erie Canal Ride to raise money for the Upstate Cancer Center.
They set off on their journey at the Erie Canal Village in Rome Friday morning.
Some of the funds raised will go towards soft flooring for ballet therapy for patients with cerebral palsy at the at the Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital.
Money will also go towards the pediatric infusion playroom at the Upstate Cancer Center.
