A Freeville man was killed in early morning car crash on State Route 13 in the Town of Dryden, Tompkins County, on Saturday. An autopsy revealed his blood alcohol content over twice the legal limit.
State Police in Ithaca say around 2:45 a.m. Saturday, a Saturn driving northbound drifted into the southbound lane, colliding with a freightliner tractor trailer head-on.
The driver of the Saturn, 22-year-old Isaac Miller of Freeville, was killed in the crash.
An autopsy was conducted at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton and the cause of death was determined to be accidental from multiple traumatic injuries as a result of the crash.
The autopsy revealed that Millerâ??s blood alcohol content was .23 percent, more than twice the legal limit.
The driver of the tractor trailer, Alexander Spagnola of Tully, was treated for minor injuries at Cayuga Medical Center.
