Two people are dead following a car crash that happened on County Route 35 in the Chenango County town of Oxford around 1:42 a.m. Sunday.
Investigators say a 2000 Ford Focus was driving east and crossed over the center line and hit a 2002 Dodge Caravan head on.
The Caravanâ??s driver, 48-year-old Oxford native David C. Clark, was taken to Chenango Memorial Hospital in Norwich where he later died.
The driver of the Focus was pronounced dead on the scene. Troopers have not identified the driver yet. There were seven passengers between the two vehicles, one in the Focus and six in the Caravan, who were all taken to local hospitals for treatment, according to State Police. Their conditions were not reported.
Troopers are still investigating the crash.
