Deputies: 'Significant' amount of meth, cocaine found in Madison Co. home; two charged
TOWN OF BROOKFIELD, N.Y. —
The Madison County Sheriff's Office says two people are facing several charges after a meth lab bust Wednesday morning.
Deputies say investigators executed a search warrant at 11385 Skaneateles Turnpike in the Town of Brookfield just before 5 a.m. Wednesday after an investigation into alleged meth making and sales at the location.
The sheriff's office says a "significant" amount of meth and cocaine were found in the home, as well as 58 ounces of marijuana, a rifle and cash.
Two people — Kirk M. Nicholas, 53, and Kerry A. Spooner, 42, both of Brookfield — face numerous charges of making and possession methamphetamine, among other charges. The sheriff's office says more charges may come depending on the findings of the state police Crime Lab results regarding the weight of the methamphetamine and cocaine.
Nicholas and Spooner were arraigned in Morrisville Court and sent to the Madison County Jail on $20,000 cash, $40,000 bond, according to the sheriff's office.
