Dick Clark being remembered at SU on Saturday

Dick Clark--seen here in SU days--donated a million dollars to his fraternity. Today they're dedicating a library in his name.

Dick Clark remembered his fraternity in his will, leaving Delta Kappa Epsilon at Syracuse University a million dollars.

Today, the fraternity dedicates a library in his honor.

Clark was an SU student from 1947 to 1951, before going on to a television career that included hosting 'American Bandstand' and New Year's Eve countdowns from Times Square. He was also the producer of several annual tv programs, including the Country Music Awards.

Clark's widow and daughter are amont family members attending today's dedication ceremonies at the fraternity house.
