Doctor in the Town of Cicero charged with sexual abuse
The Onondaga County Sheriff's Office has charged a 59 year old Manlius doctor with having inappropriate contact with an 18 year old woman.
Doctor Harvey E. Black, a family doctor at a practice located in the Town of Cicero, is charged with one count of first degree sexual abuse and one count of third degree sexual abuse.
According to deputies, the victim reported the incident to the Town of Manlius Police Department, which then turned the case over to detectives with the Sheriff's Abused Persons Unit.
Deputies say the victim was not one of Black's patients.
Black was arraigned in in the Town of Manlius court Thursday night. He was remanded to the Justice Center on bail set at $10,000 cash bail or bond. He's due back in court on Wednesday, June 26.
