Dogs get decked out to strutt, kicking off Syracuse Fashion Week
SYRACUSE, N.Y.--Downtown belonged to the dogs Wednesday as they came out in style to kick off Syracuse Fashion Week.
"I love dogs, I love animals in general," said the Director of Syracuse Fashion Week, "and I just said, you know what, you're trying to do it in September lets just have it be the first event of Syracuse Fashion week.
Eight month old Custis isn't ready to be a fashion star yet, but his owner Charlotte says she loves to see downtown freshening up.
"It's beautiful we just moved to Syracuse a couple months ago," Charlotte Sharpe "and we love it so far we love living downtown and we're excited to see what the city's doing to get people out and about downtown."
"We're kind of in the heart of Syracuse at the corner of Fayette and Salina this space is being revitalized," said Butler.
In the end though, Wednesday night was full of smiles, and yes, plenty of wagging tales.
