Two Syracuse men have non-life threatening injuries after being shot from behind on the city North Side on Saturday night, and now police are looking for the public's help in finding the suspects.
Investigators say 20 year old Nestor Carrasquillo was shot in the buttocks, and 31 year old Vizael Roman was hit in the lower back and left arm, as they were standing in front of 147 Steuben Street, about 9:30pm on Saturday night.
The victims say the two suspects, who they don't know, approached them on foot. One is described as a 6'3" thin-build white man, wearing a red hoodie. The reported shooter is described as a dark-skinned hispanic or black man, who was wearing a black t with white lettering and a black hoodie. Both fled on foot.
The victims were taken to St. Joseph's hospital by private car, and say they don't know the motive for the shootings.
