Syracuse's Arts & Crafts Festival runs Friday to Sunday (July 29 - 31) and it will be the biggest yet.The juried show will have 190 artists displaying and selling their works, 40 more than last year, says the Downtown Committee's Lisa Romeo. There will also be more food, and wine, plus vendors selling vegetables and flowers. Columbus Circle will still be the center, but Romeo says it is also expanding to the 300 block of Montgomery Street (in addition to Onondaga and Jefferson Streets), and the street painting contest is also expanding to the 200 block of Montgomery Street, with a specific 'French Masters' competition in front of L'Adour restaurant.
The Syracuse Arts & Crafts Festival is free to browse, Friday 10 - 6, Saturday and Sunday 10 - 5. The same Friday to Sunday weekend, check the Northeast Jazz and Wine Festival in Clinton Square, and the Blue Rain ECOFest in Hanover Square. The Downtown Committee website has details on all.
