A two-week event kicks off in Syracuse Monday night, aimed at bring more business to downtown restaurants.
19 Downtown Syracuse restaurants are offering three-course dinners for 25 dollars or less as part of the annual Downtown Dining Weeks. Last year an estimated 25,000 people took advantage of the deals to enjoy lots of great food at discount prices. In fact, the week has become so popular that it has been extended to two.
There is also something new to do this year. Diners can make tax deductible contributions to the Red Cross to support the earthquake relief efforts in Haiti. All you have to do is add the donation to your restaurant bill.
Patrons can also buy discount tickets to see Chef Anthony Bourdain perform at the Landmark Theatre in April.
