The Dryden man accused of shooting a UPS driver in a Walmart parking lot in December 2016 pleaded guilty this week.

39-year-old Justin Barkley admits he shot William Schumacher and ran over his body. He pleaded guilty to manslaughter and menacing a police officer.

After his arrest, Barkley initially claimed he had killed President Donald Trump as he tried to enter a guilty plea. That initial plea was denied, but Barkley was later found fit to stand trial.

Barkley will be sentenced to 25 years in state prison next month.
