Early morning car crash sends multiple people to the hospital in Syracuse

Syracuse Police are investigating an early morning crash that sent multiple people to the hospital.

According to Onondaga County 911 dispatchers, a car driving in the 200 block of Gifford Street crashed into a telephone pole around 1:30 a.m. this morning.

The car snapped the telephone pole in half and national grid had to be called to the scene.

Dispatchers say that multiple people were taken to the hospital.

The number of people involved and their conditions are unknown.
