Syracuse Fire officials are investigating an early morning house fire that broke out around 2:00 a.m. Friday morning.
According to 911, the fire broke out at a home at 543 Clarendon Street near Lancaster Avenue, which houses three apartment units.
911 said it took firefighters about 20 minutes to knock down the fire.
No one was home at the time of the fire, according to officials.
The American Red Cross aided the four people displaced by the apartment fire, but all four tenants were able to stay with friends. The Red Cross says its volunteers will remain available to help the tenants with long-term recovery if needed.
