East Syracuse pair accused in Rome gold jewelry theft

Months after $1,799.00 in gold jewelry was stolen from a home in Rome, police have charged an East Syracuse pair. Julia M. Mathews, 20, and Sandra M. Johnson, 22, both of East Syracuse are accused of stealing the jewelry from a home in Rome back in March.

Mathews was arrested for Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree and Johnson was arrested for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 4th degree, each charge is a Class-E Felony.
