EEE victim foundation donates benefit money to vaccine research

EEE victim Maggie Wilcox's relatives have donated $12-thousand, from their benefits, toward vaccine research and development.

A Facebook post from Maggie Wilcox' family has an update on moneys raised by the benefits staged in the past year in memory of the Oswego County EEE victim:

Health and Human Services acknowledges a $12,000 donation, which is going to EEE research by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. The money will go to scientists around the country who are researching the mosquito borne disease, and working on a vaccine for the virus.
