Employee struck in shoulder by bullet from outside store on Park Street

Syracuse police are investigating a shooting at Johnnyâ??s Market on Park Street Wednesday night that sent one man to the hospital.
Investigators say the 25-year-old victim was working at the store around 8:30 p.m. when he heard a shot and felt a burning in his rear shoulder area.
Police say the victim did not notice anyone outside the store at the time of the shooting, but they did find a bullet hole in the storeâ??s front window.
Investigators do not know if the victim was targeted or if he was struck by a stray bullet from outside.
The victim was taken to University Hospital with a non life-threatening injury.
