Everyone out safe after car hydroplanes, flips on roof on I-81 near Lafayette
LAFAYETTE, N.Y. —
Everyone was able to safely make it out of a vehicle that hydroplaned and flipped on its roof on Interstate 81 near Lafayette, according to Onondaga County 911.
It happened around 12:30 p.m. Saturday on the northbound lane.
The Onondaga County Sheriff's Office along with the Tully Fire Department and Ambulance all responded to the crash.
The accident happened around the same proximity where State Police are monitoring a flooding issue along the highway.
If you are traveling in this area, drive safely and slowly and be aware of water on the roadway.
