Darrell White was excited to see the game. "Just tremendously excited to be here at the Palace to see this game and cheer them on no matter what win or lose," says White.
With the Orange now out of the Big East, many SU faithful are looking at this game against the Blue Devils as the start of a brand new rivalry in the ACC.
Chris Little was at the watch party. "Duke has been crowned like the prince of college basketball. Even though we've one of the top five the last two years, three years, four years. When it comes to Duke they have like the throne, so we want to dethrone them," says Little.
As this matchup brought a record crowd into the Carrier Dome, Many fans are looking forward to seeing Duke in North Carolina in a few weeks.
Paul Valenti was watching alongside hundreds of fans. "Because Coach K is such a great coach and the Duke teams of the past have been so exceptional, that it's just quick to kind of hate on them early, give them the team to beat. With their freshman being one of the number one freshman in the country with Tyler Ennis. That head to head matchup is really one to watch.," says Valenti.
