The Marching Band competitve season is peaking at Syracuse's Carrier Dome this Sunday.
52 High School bands, in varying sizes, are competing the the NY State Field Band Competition. Winners have bragging rights, as the best.
The competion is divided into six categories, with the biggest bands going this evening. Cicero-North Syracuse, Oswego, West Genesee and Liverpool go head to head in the National Division.
You can check the website for performance times, and eventually, scores.
The event is open to the public.
One caution: because of families, friends and fans' attendance there will be extra traffic around the Dome through Sunday evening, and the construction on Route 690 Eastbound could complicate travel plans.
