Syracuse Police are on the scene of the city's first homicide of 2014.
Investigators were called to East Laurel and Lodi Streets on the city's north side around 8:10 p.m. Tuesday evening. The victim is a black man in his twenties who was shot multiple times. Police say he was taken to Upstate University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The man did not have any identification on him and police are working to determine his name. Police do say he has several tattoos. The victim managed to run from the crime scene, up East Laurel Street but collapsed.
Police believe there may be two suspects involved in this shooting. There have been no arrests.
