Authorities say five people have been taken to a hospital after a three-vehicle crash on a rural upstate New York road.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office tells the Democrat and Chronicle of Rochester that the crash occurred around 12:15 a.m. Wednesday when a vehicle crashed an oncoming vehicle on Route 14 in the town of Lyons, 30 miles east of Rochester.
Deputies say a third vehicle was involved in the crash.
The drivers of the vehicles involved in the initial crash and three passengers are being treated at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. One of the drivers is listed in satisfactory condition. Details of the other men's conditions aren't available.
The third driver refused medical attention.
