Five people were arrested after police conducted a New Yearâ??s Eve sweep and seized 45 grams of cocaine and cash in Oswego.
According to Oswego Police, police began an investigation into the sale of cocaine in the city in 2012 with the use of wire taps.
Police say the investigation lead to the arrests of David Cruz, 25, Danial Feliciano, 38, Jose Lebron-Figuera, 34, Miguel Soto-Cruz, 33, and Angela Lopez, 45.
They were all charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and conspiracy, as well as several other charges.
Cruz, Feliciano, Lopez and Lebron-Figuera were each arraigned in Oswego City Court. Cruz and Feliciano were each remanded to the Oswego County jail in lieu of $1,000 bail or $2,000 bond. Lebron-Figuera was ordered held at the county jail in lieu of $10,000 bail or $20,000 bond. Lopez was remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 secured bail bond.
Soto-Cruz is being held pending arraignment.
