Tompkins County and the Town of Enfield have declared local emergencies related to last week's flooding.
Officials say the areas suffered significant damage in excess of $400,000 as a result of the storm that occurred last Thursday and Friday.
Various waterways and infrastructure were damaged. Officials say the damage is beyond the scope of what the local government to manage.
Tompkins County is looking for state help as they continue to recover from the flooding.
