Lake snow continues to hit east of Lake Ontario and these areas are expected to see 1 to 6 inches of new snow by 7 PM on Thursday. Some isolated areas will see more than six inches of new snow.
As for the Central New York area, it will be a mainly clear morning with a little extra cloud cover in the afternoon. There is a system backing in from the north and almost all of the region will see another trace to an inch by Friday morning, with areas north getting an additional 1 to 3 inches.
Todayâ??s high is expected to be just 33 degrees with a low of 24.
