Former Trenton Town Supervisor found guilty in sexual abuse case
A former scoutmaster and Trenton Town supervisor was found guilty Friday of sexual abuse.
An Oneida County jury convicted 52-year-old Mark Scheidelman of inappropriately touching a child during a sleepover at his home, according to WKTV in Utica.
The verdict came after a day of deliberations.
Scheidelman was arrested in November 2012 and accused of having sexual contact with a 10-year-old boy.
