Four arrested in Norway home invasion burglary

State Police in Herkimer were called to 102 Ryan Road in the Town of Norway on Wednesday at 8:20 p.m. on a report of a home invasion burglary.

Police say two masked men entered the home with what appeared to be firearms, confronting a man and a 15-year-old female. The female was forced to help load bags with cartons of cigarettes and money.

The two men then left the home, and were driven away by a third men.

Police became suspicious after hearing the story of the man inside the home. An investigation revealed he was part of the plan to commit the burglary.

All four men were located and arrested. They are: Kasim Sakinovic, 18, of Remsen; Hajrudin Cvrk, 19, of Utica; Michael Litz, 20, of Remsen; and Elvir Rosic, 17, of Utica.

All four are charged with Burglary 1st and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Sakinovic was additionally charged with Harrassment 2nd and Disorderly Conduct.

The four suspects were arraigned in the Town of Norway Court and remanded to the Herkimer County Jail on $30,000 cash/$60,000 bail bond.
