Four men are facing charged in connection with a home invasion robbery at the apartment of OCC students in the Town of Onondaga.

It happened around 4 p.m. Tuesday at the High Acres Apartment complex on Ball Road.

Onondaga County Sheriff's deputies say two armed men forced their way into the apartment of three Onondaga Community College students and stole cash, computers and electronic equipment.

Investigators say 18-year-old Tyrone Briggs and 18-year-old Lloyd Styles, both of Brooklyn, knocked on the victim's door and then forced their way inside. Authorities say they displayed what appeared to be handguns and demanded the victims' hand over their cell phones, computers, electronic gaming equipment and cash.

They are both charged with robbery, burglary, criminal use of a firearm and criminal possession of a weapon.

22-year-old Terrence Brown and 18-year-old Terique Hines, both of 136 Westbrooke Hills Drive, are charged with criminal possession of stolen property, criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Deputies say Brown and Hines, who are also OCC students, were acquaintances of the victims.

Detectives later recovered the stolen property and handguns.
