Fuccillo makes push for Salvation Army donations

One popular auto dealer is looking to make the holiday season a little brighter for those who rely on the Salvation Army, by matching your donations to the organization dollar for dollar.

Up until Christmas Eve, the Fuccillo Automotive Group will match every donation to the Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign, up to $200,000, the equivalent of up to $50,000 from four cities -- Rochester, Buffalo, Albany and Syracuse.

What you give will go toward hunger relief, adult rehabilitation, housing and homeless service programs.

"This will be the 'hugest' red kettle campaign ever," said Billy Fuccillo, president of Fuccillo Automotive Group. "There's never been a better time to get in the holiday spirit and give back to the community. Whether you drop $1 or $100 into one of the red kettles, we'll match it and together we can make this holiday season special for everyone."

Bring your contributions to any of Fuccillo's 23 dealerships in New York, and drop them into the Salvation Army's Red Kettles.

You may also donate digitally.

In all, The Salvation Army hopes to raise $4,512,000 this Christmas season.
