Fulton Man Charged with Cocaine Possession

A Fulton man is charged with cocaine possession after an incident in front of the 7-Eleven store at 201 W. Broadway in Fulton.

On Sunday, 47-year-old Michael L. Myers of S. Twelfth Street was seen urinating in front of the store by a police officer.

The officer stopped Myers and placed him under arrest. When he was searched, 4 baggies of an off-white powdery substance were found in his pants pocket.

The substance was field tested positive for the presence of cocaine.

The weight came in at 2.1 grams.

Myers is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, a class B felony, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th degree, which is a class D felony. He's also charged with Disorderly Conduct, a violation.

Myers was arraigned in Fulton City Court and sent to the Oswego County jail without bail.
