Fulton woman charged with attacking disabled person she was caring for

A Fulton woman is accused of attacking a disabled person she was supposed to be caring for.

63-year-old Dolores Ahart is charged with endangering the welfare of an incompetent person, a felony.

Phoenix Police say Ahart repeatedly punched a 41-year-old with cerebral palsy that she was in charge of caring for. Police say it happened at 334 Main Street in the Village of Phoenix.

Ahart was employed by Oswego County Opportunities. She was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Schroeppel Town Court on February 26.
