L ocal gym owners say they see a lot of people missing workouts over the holiday season , and know how getting back into a regular routine after missing a string of workouts can seem overwhelming.
Experts suggest trying just 20 minutes a day, three times a week, to start to get back into the swing of things.
"2 0 min can help increase oxygen flow in the blood stream, which will give you better energy, to be able to do more ," suggests Jeramy Freeman, owner of Well Rounded Health and Fitness in East Syracuse. "A lot of times if you ha v en't been doing anything, just that 20 minutes will really increase energy enough so that you can plan to do more in the coming days. "
