Hannibal man arrested for asking child to shoplift archery items from Wal-Mart

A Hannibal man was charged Wednesday after asking a child to help in shoplift at a Wal-Mart in the town of Granby.

Oswego County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Stanley Degroff IV, 21, for endangering the welfare of a child.

He asked the child to steal archery items for him.

They released Degroff on an appearance ticket. He's due back in court on August 12th.
