After a successful 'test drive' last month, the CNY Animal Welfare Coalitions has two more Healthy Pet Clinics set for Syracuse's poorest neighborhoods.Jamie Pomilio-Mulcahy, with the Shamrock Animal Fund, says that veterinary exams, vaccinations (including rabies) and boosters, flea and tick prevention, spay and neuter vouchers and advice, education and help will be offered. It's a $10 cash donation per animal.
It will be at St. Lucy's Church Gym,1-4pm, next Sunday (October 9th) and again November 13th.
Some other requirements: it's only open to near-west and south-west side residents of Syracuse, and ID, address and income verification will be requested. Bring current shot and vet records for your pet. All pets must be leashed or in a carrier, and muzzled if necessary.
