Homer man indicted for sexual abuse of a child

An Onondaga County grand jury has indicted a Homer man for sexual abuse of a girl under the age of 17, stemming from an incident in September of 2002.

Police say 65 year-old John Webb of Pine Hills Trailer Park sexually abused a minor in 2002 in the Village of Fabius. He was


in October of 2013 after the victim contacted authorities and they started an investigation.

Webb faces charges of sodomy, sexual abuse, and endangering the welfare of a child. It is believed that he knew the victim. Originally, Webb also faced an incest charge.
