Hunter reportedly shot by other hunter in Oneida Co., deputies say
TOWN OF MARCY, N.Y. —
The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says it's investigating a possible hunting accident that happened on Thanksgiving morning.
Deputies say it happened on Route 291 in the Town of Marcy just after 9:30 a.m. A hunter was reported to have been shot by another member in his group, deputies said.
The man was taken to St. Elizabeth's Hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.
The sheriff's office is investigating the incident.
