Intoxicated woman arrested for harassment in Lowville

An According to the Lewis County Sheriffâ??s Office, deputies were called around 8:00 p.m. on Thursday to Bakerâ??s Bar and Grill after an intoxicated woman refused to leave.

Deputies say Holly Gonyea, 27, of Lyons Falls, was being disruptive inside the bar. Gonyea was told multiple times by the bartender to leave but she refused.

Once Gonyea finally began to leave, she shoved the entrance door of the bar into the bartenderâ??s face, according to deputies.

Deputies say when they arrived, Gonyea was clearly highly intoxicated.

Gonyea was arrested for trespassing and harassment. She was arraigned in the Village of Lowville Justice Court and remanded to Lewis County Jail on $250 cash bail.
