Investigation by Syracuse Police leads to arrest of armed robbery suspect

The Syracuse Police Department arrested a man after investigating an armed robbery.

According to Syracuse Police, a man and woman were standing in the parking lot of the Chase bank located on the 100 block of West Fayette Street, around 11:00 p.m. on September 7th, when they were approached by a man who displayed a handgun and demanded their belongings.

Police say Curtis Paige 3rd, 20, of Syracuse, stole their cell phones, a credit card and cash before running away.

Paige was arrested on multiple charges including felony robbery and misdemeanor criminal possession of a weapon.

Paige is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in Syracuse City Criminal Court.

No one was injured during the robbery.
