Ithaca Police looking for woman's attacker

Ithaca Police are asking the public's help, after a Collegetown woman was attacked Saturday morning

A Collegetown are resident fought off a man as she was going home on Saturday morning, and now Ithaca Police are asking for help in finding him.

The incident happened at 2:10am Saturday, as the woman was going into her front door, in the 100 block of Linden Avenue.

She tells police she was grabbed by her shoulders and thrown into her front door, but ended the attack by elbowing the suspect in the face.

He is described as white with light colored hair, 5'10" in his twenties. No weapons were displayed.
