Ithaca teenager arrested for stealing car at gunpoint

Ithaca police arrest a teenager after they say she stole a car at gunpoint.

Police say Emily Morris, 17, had a gun with her on March 29th when she approached a driver who was lost in a parking lot on West State Street.

Police say Morris took control of the wheel and started driving toward Elmira while a second suspect held a gun to the back of the victim's head.

Police say the pair eventually told the victim to get out of the car, before driving on.

Morris faces several charges including robbery, kidnapping and grand larceny.

She is being held in jail on $25,000 dollars cash bail.
