If you want to hop aboard Jason Aldean's "Night Train," tickets to his August 30th grandstand performance at the New York State Fair go on sale Saturday morning; but be aware - there have been changes to the grandstand seating, which means there will be fewer seats available close to the stage.
Ranging from $57 to $77, concert tickets for the "Burn it Down" tour go on sale at the Fair's box office starting at 9:00 a.m. or through the Fair's official online ticket seller, Etix.com.
You may also order via phone, by calling Etix at 1-800-514-3849, and selecting the first option.
The Fair says seating in the areas closest to the stage will be reduced because Aldean's stage requires a thrust, a T-shaped extension, that will run along the front of the stage. The thrust created two pits between the extensions of the "T" and the stage, but those tickets were sold through Aldean's fan club for members and are already sold out.
Country duo Florida Georgia Line, responsible for the hits "Cruise," "Round Here" and "Stay", and up-and-coming solo artist Tyler Farr, who's seen tremendous success with "Redneck Crazy," will open for Aldean.
This is Florida Georgia Line's second visit to the Fairgrounds. You may remember they played to thousands in the midst of a downpour last August at Chevy Court.
Aldean last visited the Fairgrounds in 2012, where he performed for a sold-out crowd.
The concert on Saturday, August 30th, will round out the Fair's grandstand lineup. Your ticket to the Saturday concert also includes admission to the Fair that day.
More acts will be announced in the months ahead.
The Fair runs August 21 through September 1.
