Kellogg Street shooting victim dies, Syracuse's latest homicide
Syracuse Police tell us one of the victims in Friday evening's shooting on Kellogg Street has died, makingit the city's latest homicide.
Police were called to the 100 bock of Kellogg, right off Slocum Ave on the city South Side, about 6:15 Friday evening. Both victims were taken to Upstate University Hospital in critical condition.
22 year old Juan Martinez has died as a result of the shooting. The teenager, a 15 year old, underwent emergency surgery to remove bullet fragments near his spine.
Police say the investigation is active and ongoing, and ask that anyone with information call them at 442-5222.
