An Oswego County man faces a child endangerment charge, accused of throwing an infant into another person's lap.
Oswego County Sheriff's deputies arrested 28-year-old Joseph VanPatten of Kirkville last week. They say he threw the child to someone else during a domestic dispute.
When he was arrested, deputies say VanPatten sent threatening text messages to an individual while he was at the Public Safety Building in the City of Oswego. For that, he faces an aggravated harrassment charge.
VanPatten is due back in the Town of Williamstown Court next Wednesday for the child endangerment charge.
Next Tuesday, he must return to the City of Oswego Court for the harassment charge.
