A sign on the front door of L'Adour Restaurant on Montgomery Street in Syracuse announces the restaurant's closure and thanks people for their business.
The French restaurant has been in Syracuse for 12 years.
The closure sign announces that L'Adour gift certificates will be honored at co-owner Alexia Falcone's new restaurant, ALFA Bar & Dining Room, set to open at the end of April on 200 Waring Road in DeWitt.
The sign also directs people to www.alfarestaurant.com and its Facebook page for updates.
L'Adour has faced tax problems, owing $70,000 in property tax debt to the City of Syracuse.
