Two LeMoyne Elementary School administrators and a teaching assistant are on paid administrative leave as the district investigates a â??serious parent complaintâ??, according to Syracuse School District spokesman Michael Henesey.

LeMoyne Elementary Principal Laura Vieira-Suarez, Administrative Intern Cheryl McDonald and a TA were placed on administrative leave last week, according to Henesey.

We called Syracuse Police, who referred all questions to the district.

Vieira-Suarez made the news six years ago when she was re-assigned to the district headquarters after an audit at Fowler High School raised several issues about money.

The internal audit found Vieira-Suarez was reimbursed twice for a trip, double-billed the district for a pizza party, and had several checks made out to her personal credit card.

No charges were ever filed.

She became the principal of LeMoyne Elementary in 2012.

We will have more information as it becomes available.
