The main building of the Liverpool High School was briefly evacuated Wednesday morning due to an inadvertent alarm.

School officials say the fire department responded and cleared the building for students to return.

School officials say that due to the weather, half of the students were sent to the Wetzel Road Elementary building and the other half was sent to Morgan Road Elementary. The evacuation took place during the height of the rainfall and some students did get wet.
