Liverpool woman arrested for fatal car accident that occurred by Destiny USA
A Liverpool woman was arrested for a fatal car accident that occurred by Destiny USA early Friday morning.
According to Syracuse Police, at about 12:25 a.m. 911 emergency received a report of an injured pedestrian in the road on the 2300 block of Park Street.
When they arrive, police say they found a man who was hit by a car but there was no car at the scene.
Paramedics arrived to give medical attention to the victim but he died at the scene.
Police identified the victim as Robert Bevard, 27, of Liverpool.
Police say they found a license plate near the scene of the crash and traced the plate number to Alicia Alampi, 39, of Liverpool.
According to police, they located Alampi at her home on Surrey Lane. Police noticed damage to her jeep was consistent with hitting a person.
Alampi was arrested and charged with multiple felonies including vehicular manslaughter and DWI. She is scheduled to be arraigned at Syracuse City Criminal Court later Friday.
